Simplicity Prevails
If you think running paid ads on social media is complex, I'm here to tell you it's not.
Our system uses one style of ad, straight into your inbox.
That's it. That's the system.
The reason we keep it this simple is so your focus stays on the one thing that moves the needle the most.
Your ads, and what you say in them.
Everything beyond that is just noise.
Why a direct message
Think about the person you actually want as a client.
Someone with money. Someone with a problem worth paying to solve.
That person does not want to land on your website, read three pages, find the right tab, and fill out a contact form.
They don't have the time, and they don't have the patience.
They want to speak to you directly, give you their money, and wait for you to solve their problem.
So we take the website, the forms, the funnels, all of it, out of the way.
They see your ad. Something in it interests them. They send you a message.
Now you're in a conversation.
That is the shortest possible distance between attention and a sale.
One thing to look at when it isn't working
Here is the real reason we keep it this simple.
When the system has one moving part, it has one point of failure.
If you turn your ads on and nobody messages you, there is only one thing to look at.
The ads.
The message isn't landing. So you fix the message and try again.
No wondering whether it was the landing page, the form, the email sequence, the booking link, or the retargeting.
There is nothing else to blame, and nothing else to fix.
That is what makes a simple system so fast to learn from.
Add friction later, not first
Once your ads are working and the messages are flowing, then we can talk about adding more.
If you're getting too many leads, we can add a little friction to slow the flow and raise the quality.
A qualifying question. A step. A filter.
But friction is something you earn the right to add once the flow exists.
For some people, in some niches, at some ad spends, ads straight to a direct message is all the lead flow you will ever need.
It really can be that simple.
You don't need fancy branding either
The same goes for how it all looks.
You don't need clever colours or expensive brand design.
Look at the Paid Conversations branding. There is nothing here beyond the bare bones of an online business.
Go to my Facebook page, where I run all of my traffic. It's a picture of me. That's it.
Because that is not where the work happens.
The work happens in the ad.
If I have something compelling to say, some people, not all, will click and reach out to ask me more about it.
That's the moment it turns from marketing into sales.
You don't need fancy edits. You don't need a studio.
You need a simple message.
You need to show your work or your expertise.
You need to give someone a reason to reach out: an interesting offer, or a curious view worth a conversation.
The point
Start with the smallest system that has proven, time and time again, to create real conversations.
One ad style. One direct path. One thing to fix when it isn't working.
Then let the market tell you what, if anything, deserves to be built next.
Most of the time, the answer is less than you think.
If you want to understand the thinking behind this whole build, start at the beginning.
